Sarah Klima recently moved from Long Island, New York to Melbourne Florida and currently resides in Port Saint Lucie Florida. Sarah has been in the fitness and wellness industries for almost four years. She holds certifications through AAPTE (Academy of Applied Personal Training Education) out of Hofstra University, as well as specialty certifications through NASM. Through NASM Sarah is certified in Corrective Exercise and Fitness Nutrition. Sarah started working out seven years ago and loved the lifestyle ever since. She loves kickboxing, soccer, weight-lifting and high-intensity interval training. Sarah has worked in gyms, for private personal training companies, wellness centers and worked in the vitamin and sport supplement industry for three years. She has helped her clients achieve a variety of goals such as weight-loss, adding muscle mass, decreasing pain/increasing mobility, and increasing athletic performance.
Sarah began working out as most people do, to look better and feel better, but after a car accident her passion shifted toward helping people feel better that suffered injuries and who experienced pain on a regular basis. Most people live sedentary lifestyles and may be so used to being in pain that they don’t realize it anymore. Sarah believes that everyone deserves to live a pain-free and healthy life.
Sarah is a firm believer in proper nutrition along-side with an appropriate training program to get to clients to their goals in the healthiest manner possible, while educating them within her scope of practice. She believes that vitamins and minerals and supplements like omega-3s and probiotics are the building blocks for health as well. Sarah cares deeply for her clients and goes above and beyond to help them along their own unique journeys. Sarah also has a degree in Psychology and is always happy to empathize and do what is necessary to help her clients stay motivated.
Sarah believes in proper program progression, even if that means having to use less weight to get her clients displaying perfect form before progressing to heavier weight. As a previous ego-lifter, she learned that more weight isn’t always the way to go, with respect to the human body. Sarah learned the hard way that health and fitness are not the same thing, but that they go hand in hand. Someone can look super fit, but without proper knowledge of how to treat the human body, including joints and knowing when to rest, the insides can be in shambles. Looking good and feeling good should go hand in hand. Sarah is excited to work with every new client and share her passion, knowledge, and experience with each one.
